Strap in for Life would like to invite you to the 1st premiere in the mountains of Colorado. In colab with High Fives and POW the showing will play in Minturn, a tiny town nestled between Vail and Beaver Creek. With two showings, the family premiere at 5 and the 21 and up at 7:30.

Do you have a snowmobile? (Do you want to rent one and go snowmoboarding? snowboarding with a snowmobile) We are planning a day trip to vail pass via camp hale and we want to have a group to cruise around with. So grab your backcountry safety gear (must have) – Avalanche Transceiver, Shovel, Probe, water, snacks, etc… and join us at 9am as we will depart at 10 from Camp Hale on Sleds. Board Members Jess Sweetin & Mark Liscak will lead as guides for two groups for the day to ride the famous Cupcakes and a few secret spots under the radar, mind you all the terrain we ride is equivalent from a Blue to a Double Black Diamond at a ski area, we will not take you to any Double Blacks only Intermediate Terrain. Remember there is no water, no gas, no food… so pack accordingly.

HIKE FOR LIFE APRIL

This April we are very happy to announce the very first “Hike For Life” a group hike in the backcountry and all ride down together.
It is a meeting of all atop of Berthoud Pass, in Colorado. A fundraiser where snowboarders and skiers will hike up the west face and all drop in to celebrate the ones we lost and the ones who survived. Following a Family style dinner in the parking lot (outdoor, dress accordingly) pot luck style, we will have one grill and suggest bring your own.
The run we plan on riding is a considered a Blue/Intermediate, actually the run we will be riding used to be a Blue and was called Mainline (#30 on map) at the Berthoud Ski Area.
Directions: From Denver, drive west on Interstate 70 continuing past Idaho Springs to Exit 232 and US-40. Take US-40 about 14 miles toward Winter Park to the summit of Berthoud Pass. The parking area is on the east side of the highway
